Information for students of RBMC

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has cancelled the registration of Oasis International Education Limited, trading as Retail Business and Management College (RBMC) as a private training establishment (PTE).

As a result of this cancellation RBMC can no longer provide the following programmes:

  • National Diploma in Business (Level 5)
  • National Diploma in Business (Level 6)
  • Diploma in Retail Management (Level 7).

NZQA’s priority is ensuring students are supported during this time. We appreciate this may be an uncertain time for students and we will be making every effort to keep students fully informed.

What does this mean for students of RBMC?

Students studying at RBMC will be provided with options to continue their studies. NZQA is working to transfer students to high quality tertiary education organisations who will provide a full package of learning and support. We have contacted students with information about what has happened and how they can continue their studies.

Where can I find more information and updates?

NZQA has already been in contact with many students by email and at student meetings. Any current students who have not yet heard from NZQA or who have questions can email RBMCstudent@nzqa.govt.nz so that the appropriate information and support can be provided.

As soon as we have any significant updates we will communicate these to students via email.
