Mahurangi Technical Institute Certificate in Companion Animal Services - Bird
The three modules of the Mahurangi Technical Institute Certificate in Companion Animal Services - Bird have been granted credit inclusion for the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) at Level 3 (56 credit equivalents) until 31 March 2013. This credit inclusion is limited to NCEA, may only be used once, and may not be used for any other NZQF qualifications.

Credits for the unit standards can only be awarded when schools have followed all the normal reporting and assessment processes as required by the Assessment and Examination Rules for Schools with Consnet to Assess 2012
Credit for unit standards may not be awarded automatically as a result of passing any exam/test/assessment items, unless such items provide candidate specific evidence for all the performance criteria of the standard/s concerned.
