Business Studies Achievement Standards

Six level 1 Business Studies achievement standards have been registered and are available on the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) website. They have been registered under the domain, Business Studies. Teachers can find them on the Business Studies subject page or by searching for Business Studies on the website.

Assessment Specifications for the three level 1 externally assessed standards (90837, 90838 and 90839) have also been published and are available on the NZQA website. The examination for these three standards will be held on 30 November 2010.

Moderation of the internally assessed standards will be conducted in the same way as all other subjects. Schools must submit their assessment tasks and schedules, along with samples of student evidence. Principal's Nominees will be contacted by School Relationship Managers to nominate standards for moderation.
