Changes to the Art History Guidelines
A2016/004 - 13 Feb 2016
To: | Principal |
Changes to the Art History Guidelines
NZQA’s Art History Guidelines provide teachers and students with advice on the content of the NCEA examinations.
Changes have been made to the Guidelines to rationalise the information and to remove duplication. The artists lists have been removed and published in the 2016 Art History Assessment Specifications for each NCEA level. These can be found at http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/qualifications-standards/qualifications/ncea/subjects. Information relating to what is required for achievement has also been removed and can be found in the achievement standards and assessment reports.
NZQA will also publish a set of exemplars for each standard and level from the 2015 examinations to provide an indication of what is required to achieve the standard.
