Level 1 standards and modes of assessment
Standards have changed their mode of assessment from external to internal as a result of the alignment of standards with the New Zealand curriculum.
This circular brings to your attention the change in mode of assessment for new versions of Level 1 standards that have the retained same standard number.
These standards were assessed by examination in 2010, but from 2011 will be assessed internally. The 2011 examinations will not include assessment of these standards.
