Moderation Best Practice Workshops

Online registrations are invited for Moderation Best Practice Workshops to be held this year from the start of term two.

The workshops will cover the same content as those held in 2009, focussing on current standards only, with emphasis on levels 2 and 3. The new draft standards are outside the scope of these workshops.

Please note that the workshops are spread throughout the year and will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm. In response to feedback received from participants in 2009, the format has remained unchanged. However, some other changes have been made. The workshops have been extended to five hours, smaller numbers of participants will be in each workshop, we will provide more in rural areas, and lunch will now be provided at the venue and included in the registration fee. To cover the costs the new fee for 2010 is $120 per participant. Also, if registered participants are unable to attend, you may elect to send a replacement teacher from your school without advance notice.
