Review of External Assessment for Technology
A2010/009 - 01 Jun 2010
A Ministry of Education and New Zealand Qualifications Authority joint working group has been formed to review external assessment practices in Technology.
The joint working group will involve officials from MOE and NZQA and assessment practitioners.
The joint working group will consider the external assessment needs of the Technology learning area and how these needs can be best supported. The joint working group will advise NZQA on the specification for assessment of reviewed external achievement standards for 2011.
Teachers will be notified in July of any advice from the working group by circular. Teachers will be invited to comment on any advice by email to examinations@nzqa.govt.nz with the subject line Technology Assessment.
