Verification for Levels 1 and 2

Further details on the required process for courier collection of portfolios will be provided to schools later in the year.

Level 3 and New Zealand Scholarship assessment

The due date for all level 3 and New Zealand Scholarship submissions to be collected by the courier from schools is Wednesday, 10 November 2010.

These dates are published on the 2010 Key Dates for National Secondary Qualifications wall planner.

Provisional Visual Arts assessment dates for 2011

The school terms have been restructured for 2011, resulting in a shorter term four. Taking this into consideration, NZQA has altered the Visual Arts submission schedule for 2011. The proposed submission dates should have a minimal impact on the total time candidates have to complete their portfolios. However, schools may need to collect and assess portfolios at the end of term three . The proposed dates will apply for 2011 only and the previous submission schedule will be reinstated for 2012.
