NCEA and Scholarship 2011 Results Publication in 2012

NZQA is confirming its intentions for the publication of results in January - March 2012

Key Messages

• Students should access the learner-login area of the NZQA website to view their NCEA results in early January 2012 and Scholarship results in early February.

• Printed NCEA result notices will not be distributed to all learners automatically. Learners who require a printed result notice must request one from the learner-login between September and December.  

• Scholarship result notices will be distributed to all candidates in February 2012. 

NCEA results

• The learner-login will be NZQA’s primary publishing medium for results.

• Printed result notices will only be sent to learners on request. It is envisaged that only those students without internet access to view their results will request a printed notice.

• The facility to request a result notice will be available on the Learner login area from September to 31 December 2011. Learners may supply an alternative address for the delivery of the result notice. There is no charge.

• Learners at schools in the Cook Islands and Niue will automatically receive a printed result notice.

• New Zealand schools with concerns about their learners’ access to online results should contact their School Relationship Manager.

• Information sheets and reconsideration forms will only be available from the learner-login area.

Scholarship results

• All learners entering Scholarship in 2011 will receive a result notice in February 2012.

• The Scholarship results display on the Learner-login and the paper result notice will contain award information where appropriate.

• Information sheets, reconsideration forms and scholarship application forms (where appropriate) will only be available from the website.

Certificates, School Results Summaries, Records of Achievement

• As for 2010, Certificates, School Results Summaries and Records of Achievement will only be distributed on request for delivery in 15-20 days.

• The first copies of these documents are free, but additional copies will cost $15.30 each.
