2012 Examination Timetable

The 2012 NCEA and NZ Scholarship examination timetable is now available. The external examination period will run from Friday 9 November to Tuesday 4 December 2012. On 13 April 2011, the examination period was advised as starting on Saturday 10 November, in S2011/016 Examination period for 2012. The start date has since been revised and this only affects the Scholarship Drama examination.

Examination results will be available to candidates and schools early in 2013.

As in 2011, the format of the timetable for 2012 differs from that in 2010 and preceding years. To minimise timetable clash issues, different levels of a subject are assessed on different days.

It is important that teachers, school administrators and the school community know the exact dates of all examinations and understand the implications of the examination timetable for student course selections and programme planning.
