Changes have already been made to both the School and Learner Logins to group entries and results by school defined course.

From late August further changes will be made to both sites, displaying new course endorsement data for candidates.

Learner Login Changes

The following changes have been made to the Learner Login:

  1. The ability to click on the name of a course on the My School Entries and Results page to drill down and see more details for that course.

  2. A new Course Details page, which includes:
  • A list of the entries and results for the course
A table summarising credits in the course to aid understanding of progress towards course endorsement
The option to see what endorsements are possible for the course

An example of this screen is shown below:

If the candidate chooses to see what is possible, the screen is updated to include:

  • A statement indicating the best possible endorsement that can be gained for the course
  • A progress bar diagram showing progress to date and what is required to gain the endorsement
  • The option to predict results for remaining entries and/or to remove entries that will not be assessed and see the impact on course endorsement

An example of this screen is shown below:

School Login Changes

The following changes have been made to the School Login:

  1. The addition of a new column on the Standards Search page, which lists the courses for the school, to identify for each course how many candidates in the course are entered in insufficient credits for an endorsement to be possible. An example is shown below:
  2. The addition of a new column on the Candidates in Course screen to indicate the status of each candidate in relation to endorsement in the course. An example is shown below:

  3. The replacement of the Candidate Courses and Candidate entries screen with a single screen displaying:
  • A list of courses
  • The option to show/hide that candidate’s entries in a particular course or for all courses
  • A column indicating the endorsement status of the candidate for each course they are entered in
An example is shown below :

  • A new section on the Candidate Entries in Course screen, including:
  • A statement indicating the best possible endorsement that can be gained for the course
  • A progress bar diagram showing progress to date and what is required to gain the endorsement
  • A table summarising credits in the course
  • The option to predict results for remaining entries and/or to remove entries that will not be assessed and see the impact on course endorsement

The new information on the Candidate Entries in Course screen will mirror the information available to learners on the Learner Login, except that schools do not have the ability to predict results and see the impact.
