Standards alignment, expired standards and reporting results
Schools are reminded that no assessment can take place for standards which have been expired as a consequence of the standards alignment process, once the expiry date listed on the standard has passed.
An assessment date must be reported for each standard assessed and no result can be accepted for any standard whose assessment date falls after the expiry date. For example, results for any standard with “Expiry Date” or “Last date for assessment” as 31 December 2011 must be reported in the 2011 data.
Please ensure you take the expiry date into consideration when designing assessment programmes for 2012 and beyond.
Information on the future of current achievement and unit standards in the standards alignment process is included in spreadsheets on the Standards Alignment subject pages.
