Update on the Overseas Results Notices for International Fee-paying Students

International fee-paying students are able to download the Overseas Results Notice (ORN) from the learner login on the NZQA website.

The ORN is available to all international fee-paying students, but it was principally designed for use by Thai students seeking Matthayom 6 equivalence from Thailand’s Bureau of Educational Testing (BET) after studying in New Zealand. The contents of the ORN are the subject of an agreement between New Zealand and Thailand. See Thai recognition requirements on the NZQA website.

NZQA has decided that there will be no change in the Overseas Results Notice for 2011. The report will continue to summarise students’ results using the NZQA Subject Group categories presently in use, and will not use courses as defined by course endorsement.

This will be reviewed when course endorsement processes have settled in.
