TEOs encouraged to do business online
NZQA has extended the suite of online services for tertiary education organisations (TEOs).
TEO Self Service gives tertiary providers the ability to submit applications online for activities including course approval and accreditation, NQF accreditation and registration.
Providers can also maintain organisation and contact details, and fulfil compliance obligations by lodging annual paperwork electronically.
Already, more than 200 users have subscribed to TEO Self Service.
Kathy Maclaren, Manager Registration, Approval and Accreditation says, "We want to make it easier for our providers to do business with us. The new self service option means that providers have more choice about how they interact with us.
"By automating some of our business processes, we can pass the benefits back to our providers. TEO Self Service will help to reduce qualification approval turnaround times, and drive down the cost and speed to market for education and training providers."
To become a user of TEO Self Service, providers must apply for access. Please phone the sector service desk on 0800 422 599.
