developers and education providers nominate
a NZSCED classification for their qualifications; quality assurance bodies
must approve qualification titles before they can be classified. The National

|
the ability to apply particular knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to the standard of performance required in specified contexts.

| consistent | refers to assessment. Assessment is consistent where, given similar circumstances the assessor would make the same judgement again and the judgement will be similar to judgements that other assessors would make. | |
| consortium | groupings of secondary schools working collaboratively to deliver typically vocational courses. | |
| co-ordinating setter | a subject expert who has the responsibility for preparing the examination paper and assessment schedule for an externally assessed achievement standard. (See also examiner) | |
