Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs)

Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) are New Zealand government-owned tertiary education organisations.

As of 1 January 2011, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) is responsible for quality assurance services to these organisations. This service was previously provided by Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics Quality (ITPQ). 

The guidelines and forms for ITPs on these pages will be subject to review early in 2011 to align them with current NZQA policy and practice.
