These assessment resources for Nga Mahi a Te Whare Pora have been designed to help practitioners of Raranga assess students
against unit standards that have been registered on the National Qualifications Framework.
They have been developed in conjunction with and following feedback from practitioners who have assessed unit standards within
their Raranga programmes.
These resources are a product of the work and experience of practitioners who have assessed unit standards, as well as feedback
received from Whakaruruhau members.
The resources contain ready-to-use sample assessment plans, information for candidates, information for assessors, task sheets
and assessment schedules, to help tutors implement the National Qualification Framework.
Section one, contains web link access information to Nga Mahi a Te Whare Pora unit standards levels 1 and 2
matching task sheets and assessment schedules.
Section two, contains a sample assessment plans, assessor information sheets candidate information sheets, task
sheets and assessment schedules for the domain of Raranga Levels 1 and 2.
Section three, contains a sample assessment plans, assessor information sheets, candidate information sheets,
task sheets and assessment schedules for the domain of Taniko Levels 1 and 2.
Section four, contains a sample assessment plans, assessor information sheets, candidate information sheets,
task sheets and assessment schedules for the domain of Whatu Levels 1 and 2.
Section five, contains Nga Mahi a Te Whare Pora qualification structure information (level 2) and moderation
information.
Section six, contains a glossary. It is essential to add new material to this resource. The Qualifications
Authority is eager to receive examples of assessment activities that your school or institution may have developed which can
assist other teachers to provide quality assessment for their students.
