Foundation Learning Quality Assurance
Consultation
In 2006, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority consulted with tertiary education stakeholders on proposed quality assurance requirements for foundation learning. The FLQA Consultation Summary Report summarises stakeholders' responses. NZQA and the Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics Quality (ITP Quality) also completed a trial of the proposed FLQA requirements with foundation learning providers.

Background
The proposed FLQA requirements follow on from the findings of a 2004 project, which produced a draft Adult Literacy Quality Mark (dALQM). The project report is available.
