Tertiary Education Organisation (TEO) moderation manual 2007
TEOs must be accredited by the Qualifications Authority before they can offer programmes of education and training assessed against unit standards. Once they are accredited, TEOs assessing against unit standards must carry out internal moderation and engage with the external moderation that applies.
The following information is for TEOs that are assessing learners using unit standards moderated by NZQA. Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) manage the moderation of industry unit standards. NZQA organises moderation of unit standards it is responsible for through the systems listed below.
