Case studies of assessment and moderation

Case studies of how assessment and moderation can be undertaken for the National Qualifications Framework are presented here. They represent a broad range of industry training organisations and providers and are accompanied by support documents. These case studies and documents are intended as examples of assessment and moderation in practice, and are not to be used as definitive guides.

This material was developed through a joint New Zealand Qualifications Authority, Skill New Zealand, Industry Training Federation, Association of Polytechnics in New Zealand and New Zealand Association of Private Education Providers project.

In February/March 2003 workshops were run by the Industry Training Federation, Skill New Zealand and NZQA. The case studies were used as a starting point for discussion. Note: the summaries in booklet form - National Qualifications Framework: Case studies of assessment and moderation are no longer available.
