Report
Your feedback was sought on this role in July 2007 via an online survey, and a review was undertaken based on the responses to this survey. The report detailing this review was made available to SSBs in March 2008. Overwhelming support for this role has seen it added as a permanent FR service.

The liaison role is designed to benefit SSBs and FR. It allows FR to develop a better understanding of the industries and sectors that the SSB represents and it provides SSBs with a first point of contact for advice about registration criteria, quality assurance processes, and the NQF. While each evaluator cannot be an expert on everything, the evaluator will gather information from colleagues to ensure that the best possible advice is given to the SSB.

Evaluators continue to have full quality assurance workloads. One or two working days per year will be allowed for each liaison person to attend out-of-office meetings or visits to an industry training site, for each SSB. (Please note that travel outside Wellington is at the SSB's expense.)

If you do not know the evaluator assigned to your SSB please contact Kelly Robinson (DDI 04 463 3267) or email Framework Registration. Framework Registration staff can be contacted by email using: firstname.lastname@nzqa.govt.nz.

Please contact Liz Willmott, Manager Framework Registration (DDI 04 463 3277) if you have any questions, comments, or requests relating to the liaison role.
