Assessment Support Materials: Whakairo

Kia ora and welcome to the Whakairo assessment support material.

These resources have been designed to assist teachers and tutors in assessing students against the relevant Whakairo unit standard listed on the Directory of Assessment Standards (DAS).

Teachers with applied understanding of the unit standards have written these resources to provide practical assistance in assessment against unit standards. Teachers using these resources will find ready-to-use assessment activities and schedules to assist in implementing the DAS.

NZQA would like to acknowledge the efforts of all those whose work and experience have yielded this practical resource.

The effective use of these resources will strengthen the national assessment system and build the confidence of teachers in their vital role as assessors.
