About NCEA: the National Qualifications Framework in Schools

NCEAs (National Certificates of Educational Achievement) are New Zealand's national qualifications for senior secondary students. NCEA is part of the National Qualifications Framework, along with approximately 1,000 other qualifications.
Students may be able to study toward qualifications other than NCEA while they are at school. These may be instead of NCEA, or as well NCEA.You can see what other qualifications are available, and the standards on which they are based.
