How do we apply for an extension of our accreditation?
It is important that you contact NZQA's School Relationship Manager - Accreditation to discuss the detail of your application.
Process
You will be asked to submit an application which provides responses to the following:

| 1a | Submit a formal covering letter from your school Principal | |
| 1b | Specify the Subfield or the Domains and /or Unit Standards precisely, that comprise the application | |
| 1c | Verify that the school has access to the qualified staff and resources to offer the Unit Standards listed in the application | |
| 1d | Confirm that the school is already involved in assessment and moderation procedures for a range of achievement/unit standards that meet NZQA requirements | |
| 1e | Confirm that contact has been made with the relevant ITO or SSB, and that compliance with their requirements has been met | |
| 1d | Confirm that the school has made arrangements to link with the assessment and moderation requirements to cover the standards listed in the application | |
| 2 | Include also the response to each of the eight bullet points found on the single page reference, 'Required Documentation' in the document opposite. Each of the eight responses should refer to the specific unit standard course for which the application is made. If a multiple subject/topic course application is made then the eight responses must be completed for each different course |   |
| 3 | Include with the submission, the letter of support from each relevant SSB or ITO where this applies | |
| 4 | The school's QMS up-dated document should have been approved by the School Relationship Manager. (Meeting QASS requirements?). Please confirm that this requirement has been met | |
