Responsibility for the unit standards and qualifications referred to above, which were registered between 1997 and 2000 has been transferred from the NZQA National Qualifications Services to the Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation Limited (CSSITO).

Date new versions published                                                                    February 2008

Rationale for the change

The change of responsibility was initiated as a consequence of the NZQA exit strategy for a number of its advisory groups.

Qualifications

The qualifications have been reviewed, and amended to show CSSITO as the standards setting body, updated and published as new versions.  One of the qualifications has been expired as it is no longer considered appropriate for industry's needs.  See details below.

Unit Standards

The unit standards have been reviewed, and amended to show CSSITO as the standard setting body and published as new versions.  They have been reclassified in a new domain Guide Dog Training.  The opportunity was taken to update references, correct typographical errors and ensure the content was still fit for purpose.  See details below.

Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan

The unit standards have been transferred from AMAP [Ref: 0087] to AMAP [Ref: 0024].
