Revision and rollover of Concrete Technology unit standards

The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation has rolled over the unit standards listed above to maintain their currency until they are reviewed.  The opportunity was taken to correct the details references within the special notes.

Reason for the rollover and revision

 

The entire Concrete suite of unit standards and qualifications is currently undergoing a major review and restructuring.  Some unit standards in the Concrete Technology domain were past their planned review date, and it was considered prudent to roll over the entire domain to maintain currency until they are reviewed, since this is an ongoing project.  These unit standards will be reclassified as part of the planned review.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·           reference to NZS 3113:1979 removed in standards 12020 and 18342, as it is no longer available

·           reference to SAA/SNZ HB84:1996 in standard 12022 updated, as this document was republished with a new date in 2006

·           small grammatical and punctuation amendments have been made.
