Revision of Business qualification
National Certificate in Business (First Line Management) (Level 4) [Ref: 0649]
The National Qualifications Services of NZQA has revised the qualification above.
Date new version published January 2008
The next review of this qualification is planned to take place during 2012.
Reason for the revision
This qualification was revised in order to correct an error in version 3 of this qualification published in November 2007.
Main changes resulting from the revision
Changes to structure and content
· The rule in Set 3 of Elective A was changed from 'a minimum of 5 credits', to 'a maximum of 5 credits'.
Version 3 of this qualification has been withdrawn and will not be awarded. People currently working towards version 1 or 2 of this qualification may either complete the requirements for those versions or transfer their results to version 4 of the qualification. The final date for assessments to take place for version 1 or 2 is December 2010.
Transition arrangements
· Providers are encouraged to offer programmes based on the new requirements from January 2008.
· It is not intended that any existing candidate be disadvantaged by this revision. However, anyone who feels disadvantaged should contact the standard setter:
