The review was carried out in consultation with Telecommunication Education and Skills Standards Organisation (TESSO).  In conjunction with their members, who represent the majority of this industry, it was decided that the above qualifications are no longer required.  The Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation (ESITO), which has had trainees enrolled in the Telecommunications qualifications in the past, was also consulted and indicated their support.

Ref: 0104 has not been awarded since registration in 1995.  Refs: 0102 and 0108 have not been awarded since 2005, with the exception of one award for Ref: 0108 in 2009.  Ref: 0109 has not been awarded since 2007.
