The Skills Organisation has completed the revision and rollover of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

The unit standards were revised to update the references to legislation and standards, update references to electrical licensing classes, extend the planned review date to 2014 in order to maintain currency during the Sector Review process, and standardise terms and phrases across the unit standards.

 

Main changes

 

·      References to legislation and standards were updated.

·      The opportunity was taken to standardise terms and phrases across the unit standards.

·      The titles of unit standards 17798, 17799, 17801, 17803, 17804, 17805, 17809-17811, 18089, 18090, 22763, and 22765 were changed to reflect electrical licensing class changes and to standardise terms.

·      The planned review date was amended to December 2014.
