NZQA Māori Qualifications Services (MQS) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
The standards were reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose and relevant.
Hui with the Whakaruruhau Hauora were held during January and further discussions held by telephone and via email. Draft standards were published on the NZQA website and stakeholders were invited to submit feedback.
All amendments were endorsed by the Whakaruruhau Hauora.
Main changes
· Title changes were made to 6 standards to better reflect the unit standard outcomes.
· The following standards – 14235, 15997, 18355, 18358, 18359, 19532, and 19533 were replaced by new standards.
· Changes to purpose statement, explanatory notes, outcomes, evidence requirements and range statements were made to ensure clarity for users.
· Unit standard 16045 has been moved from CMR 0226 to CMR 0165.
· Unit standard 14235 has been moved from CMR 0165 to CMR 0226.
· A last date for assessment of the superseded versions of the reviewed standards was included.
Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2018
