Summary

The review of these unit standards was initiated through their planned review and in response to the listing of the New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management (Level 4) [Ref: 1809] version 2.

The unit standards were reviewed to ensure that they are fit for purpose, relevant to the Residential Property Management and Community-housing sectors and are readily available for assessment.  Industry representatives were involved in the review and writing of these unit standards and provided feedback.

The review of the remaining unit standards in the Residential and Commercial Property Management domain is intended to take place in the near future.

Main changes

·      Seven unit standards were reviewed as Category C and replaced by five new unit standards.

·      Three new unit standards have been developed.

Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2018

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2018
