Date new versions published May 2017
Planned review date December 2021
Summary
As a result of the Targeted Review of Qualifications process, Primary ITO reviewed a number of unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in new qualifications. Primary ITO also developed a number of new unit standards to meet industry need and reflect the outcomes listed in the new qualifications.
Key stakeholders and organisations with consent to assess had the opportunity to review these unit standards and offer feedback. This consultation was through an online survey which ran for two weeks in March 2017. All feedback was actioned where appropriate.
As part of the same development process, Primary ITO reviewed six standards. These standards were reviewed to update references to legislation.
Main changes
· Six unit standards were reviewed.
· One unit standard has a lower level.
· Three unit standards have a lower credit value.
· 15 new unit standard were listed.
