Summary

 

The review of this standard was initiated following the listing of the New Zealand Certificate in Building Regulatory Environment (Level 4) [Ref: 3029], to ensure it was fit for purpose, relevant to the Building Control Surveying sector and are readily available for assessment.  Industry representatives from the Building Control Surveying Sector were involved in the review, writing, and provision of feedback on this unit standard and the development of eight new unit standards.

 

Main changes

 

·      Changes were made to unit standard 24165 to accurately reflect sector terminology, changing trade practices, and emerging materials.

·      Eight new unit standards were developed.

·      A last date for superseded versions of 24165 was specified.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of the Category B unit standard is December 2023
