Summary
The review of these unit standards was prompted by the outcomes of the scheduled review of the New Zealand Certificate in Recreation Safety Auditing (Level 6) with optional strands in Adventure Activities, and Incident and Accident Investigations [Ref: 2302].
Feedback from stakeholders was gathered through an open consultation process and used to guide the review of the associated unit standards.
Main changes
· Titles for unit standards 28190 and 28191 were amended to reflect the outcomes.
· Credits for unit standard 28190 were increased to reflect the time required for learning, practice, and assessment of the outcomes.
· Guidance information, outcomes, performance criteria, and range statements were updated to ensure currency with industry knowledge and practice.
Impact on Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR)
Standard 28190 moved from CMR 113 to CMR 0099.
