Summary
Connexis conducted a review of unit standards in the Infrastructure Works subfield to align with changes required by a review of three infrastructure qualifications. Unit standards were reviewed throughout 2021.
Consultation on the reviewed unit standards was conducted by industry technical advisers. The Industry Reference Group endorsed proposed changes.
Main changes
· Titles, purpose statements, outcomes, performance criteria and range statements were updated to reflect the needs of the infrastructure industry.
· Guidance information was updated to align with current industry practice and legislation.
· The credit totals for unit standards 6476, 17328 and 31446 were increased in line with industry requirements for training and assessment.
