Review information
Qualification Developer |
Waihanga Ara Rau Workforce Development Council |
Reason for the republication |
Extension to last date for entry to and assessment of National qualifications. |
Republication date |
December 2021 |
Summary of review and consultation process |
The last date for entry to programmes leading to these National qualifications and the last date for assessment has been extended. This is to accommodate the learners who have been unable to complete learning and assessment before the previous last date for assessment due to the restrictions and impacts of COVID-19 throughout the country. Extending the last date of entry and of assessment will also enable programmes leading to the replacement qualifications to be developed. These programmes were delayed due to the Reform of Vocational Education (RoVE) and the impacts of COVID-19. |
Main changes resulting from the review |
The last date for entry to programmes leading to these qualifications has been extended from 31 December 2021 to 30 June 2022. The last date for assessment of these qualifications has been extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023, when the qualifications will be discontinued. The qualifications have been republished to reflect these dates. |
