Summary of review and consultation process

Ringa Hora Workforce Development Council reviewed the above qualification from May to July 2023.

One stakeholder oversees the industry and as a result, it was confirmed that the qualification remained fit for purpose, with amendments. This amended version was circulated to the stakeholder, via email, for further feedback. There was no feedback as the qualification is still fit for purpose. The draft reviewed qualification was published on the Ringa Hora website, LinkedIn, and Ed Insider for wider consultation.

The reviewed qualification was submitted to Qualifications and Assessment for evaluation and final approval by NZQA.

Main changes resulting from the review

· Qualification developer details, version and review dates, and qualification award information were updated to align to NZQA listing requirements.

· Assuring consistency requirements were updated to include Te Tiriti statement to providers.

· Conditions for Graduate Profile Outcomes 1 and 2 were moved to the General Conditions.

· Endorsement considerations were included in the General Conditions to guide programme developers.

· Additional transition information was updated.
