The extension of the last date for assessment or last date for entry of version 1 of the above qualifications has been undertaken following requests from and discussions with providers. This 18-month extension of the last date for assessment for the New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing (Level 3) [Ref: 2411] and one-year extension of the last date for entry for the New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing (Emerging Stylist) (Level 4) [Ref: 2412] is to allow providers time to update existing programmes since the recent publication of the new Hairdressing unit standards. |

· The last date for assessment of version 1 of the qualification [Ref: 2411] was extended from 31 December 2023 to 30 June 2025. · The last date for entry to programmes leading to expiring qualification [Ref: 2412] was extended from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2024. · The Qualification Developer was updated from New Zealand Hair and Beauty Industry Training Organisation Incorporated to Toi Mai Workforce Development Council. |
