Summary

The Turf Management department at Te Pūkenga Otago Polytechnic central campus want to start an introductory turf management course as part of a trades academy that is being started at the campus next year.  Unit standard 20531 has been identified by turf management staff as integral to the foundation knowledge of the turf management industry and wish to integrate it into their trades academy course.  However, the last date for assessment of this unit standard is currently 31 December 2023.  It is the intention of Muka Tangata to develop skill standards in turf management in 2026 and would like to have this standard available in the interim.
