Summary

The revision of the unit standards was initiated to support better alignment with the new version of the qualifications.  The changes better reflect the agreed notional hours required to demonstrate the overarching expected level of performance. Both industry representation and the relevant provider confirmed the changes to these unit standards in November 2023.

Main changes

· Credit value increased from 6 to 7 in each unit standard to reflect the notional learning hours expected to demonstrate competence of the unit standards.
