Summary

H-A-R reviewed the motor industry unit standards for the listed unit standards above to ensure they continued to be fit-for-purpose for the motor industry.

H-A-R carried out the review to better align these unit standards to the graduate profile outcomes of the New Zealand qualifications relating to Automotive Refinishing, and Collision Repair new suite of qualifications. Various unit standards were reviewed in batches between 2020 and 2021 giving multiple ‘next review dates’ these have now been consolidated to give a next review date of 2027. Providers with consent to assess were invited for input and feedback via email. Industry and subject matter experts provided feedback and input into the review of these unit standards.
