Summary of development/review and consultation process

Representatives from the Glass Processing industry and providers requested an extension to the last date of assessment for superseded version 1 of the qualification.

The reason for the extension was to allow a reasonable amount of time for the redevelopment of programmes, new delivery plans and redeveloped learning, teaching, and assessment resources while ongoing delivery is available for learners during the transition.

The date has now been extended to 31 December 2025.

Main changes resulting from the development/review process

·         The last date of assessment for version 1 of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2025.

·         Standard Setting Body details were updated in the ‘General conditions for the programme’ and ‘additional transition information’ sections from BCITO to Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council.
