Summary

The unit standards were reviewed as part of the five year review cycle. Meetings were held with industry stakeholders and training providers for the plastics fabrication industry. Amendments and updates were discussed at the Technical Advisory Group meetings held through October 2022-April 2023 and via email consultation. All relevant feedback was actioned where appropriate.

Main changes

- Credit values of three unit standards were increased to provide adequate time for learning and assessment.

- Legislation and guidance information were updated.

- Minor corrections were made to some performance criteria within the suite of standards.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2025
