Summary

 

A review of unit standards in the Fluid Power - Hydraulics and Fluid Power - Pneumatics domains was carried out in conjunction with the development of the New Zealand Certificate in Fluid Power Engineering Fundamentals (Level 3) [Ref: 4777] in March 2023. During the review, the two new unit standards listed above were developed with the support of industry to address a knowledge gap for trainees who are training and working in the fluid power industry.

·      Development of two new unit standards containing the learning outcomes required to meet current and future industry needs specific to fluid power.
