Summary of republication and consultation process

Te Pūkenga, the sole provider of programmes leading to these qualifications, initiated this review by contacting Hanga Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council requesting the extension of the last date of assessment to the above qualification.

The extension allows Te Pūkenga to enrol ākonga in programmes leading to the qualification and allows time for Te Pūkenga to complete a series of unification transformation pilots.

The extension ensures ākonga are not disadvantaged and enables Te Pūkenga to avoid duplication of effort for programme and resource redevelopment as Te Pūkenga focus on Phase 2 of the Unification of Programme of Work.

Main changes resulting from the republication

The last date of assessment for version 1 of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2025.

Version 2 of this qualification has been republished to reflect this date.
