Summary of development/review and consultation process

Toitū te Waiora Community, Health, Education and Social Services Workforce Development Council has received a request from providers to extend the last date of assessment for the Youth Work qualifications.

It is intended that the extension will allow time for providers to adjust their programmes of study to align to the new versions of the qualifications.

Main changes resulting from the development/review process

The last date of assessment for all three qualifications has been extended from 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2026.
