Development of Plastics Fabrication unit standards

Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has completed the development of the unit standards listed below.

Summary

The unit standards were developed in conjunction with industry stakeholders and training providers for the plastics fabrication industry, to recognise the knowledge and skill requirements for plastics fabricators working in the acrylics sector.

Amendments and updates were discussed at meetings through October 2022 – February 2023 and via email consultation.  All relevant feedback was actioned where appropriate.
