Toitū te Waiora Community, Health, Education, and Social Services Workforce Development Council has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The unit standards in the table above are used to assess learner achievement in programmes leading to version 2 of the New Zealand Certificate in Youth Work (Level 4) (Ref: 2449).  The last date for assessment for programmes leading to version 2 of this qualification is 31 December 2025.

Earlier versions of the standards are being used in programmes.  Extending the last date for assessment of these earlier versions allows their end of life to coincide with the last date for assessment of version 2 of the qualification and allows currently enrolled ākonga to complete their programme without being disadvantaged.

Main changes

· The last date for assessment has been extended to 31 December 2025 for earlier versions of the unit standards where the last date of assessment is currently 31 December 2023.

· Weblinks to references have been updated for currency in unit standards 22250, 28538 and 28556.
