The Muka Tangata – People, Food and Fibre Workforce Development Council (Muka Tangata WDC) has completed the reinstatement of the standards listed above.

Summary
The unit standards listed above expired on 31 December 2023. Muka Tangata WDC requested that these unit standards be reinstated to allow consent to assess holders to continue their use of these in learning programmes for ākonga/learners. They will be reviewed in 2026 or earlier, alongside the Seafood qualifications.
Main changes
· The unit standards above were reinstated.
· Minor corrections were made to standards where necessary for consistency and accuracy.
· The standard setting responsibilities were updated from the Primary ITO to the Muka Tangata WDC.
· The planned review date was updated to 31 December 2026, to give time for a review of the unit standards to take place.
