Summary

Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council, in consultation with stakeholders, has revised and rolled over three Security Staff Services unit standards.

The security sector has confirmed that these standards are still fit for purpose, and with skill standards and micro-credentials being developed in the coming years, agreed there is little benefit in making significant changes to these unit standards at this time.

Main changes

· The planned review date was extended from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2026.

· Standard setting body information was updated from The Skills Organisation to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council.

· For unit standard 27364, Outcome 6 and, legislation and definitions in Guidance Information were updated.
